Welcome To Corndodger Station

Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders Inc. and the Frozen Butt Rendezvous
And
Double Tap Defensive Shooting Club

In the winter of 1996 a small group of guys from Kaw Valley Muzzleloaders cleared out a rough piece of ground along Corndodger Creek to hold the 16th Annual Frozen Butt Rendezvous. Since then this chunk of ground has grown into one of the nicest muzzleloading camp sites in the region and home to one of the biggest rendezvous in the State of Kansas. Add this growth in popularity with its 'Pre-1840 Fur Trade" historical value and the site began to take on an identity of its own. The site is now known as "Corndodger Station".

In the Spring of 2008 Corndodger Station also became the home to Double Tap Defensive Shooting Club. With the 2007 passage of Concealed Carry legislation in Kansas there was a need to provide profesional training and practical "hands on" practice for a growing group of shooters. Double Tap has done that very thing with the addition of the "Corndodger Ranges".
